Argh…
What’s the trick with these extended spacers?
I cannot for the life of me get them to work.
When tightening it all together there is a wobble making the entire wheel assembly useless…

I see the problem. My spacers are sticking out a wee bit from the surface of the plate. Need to file them down just a little…

Yeah it is the steel plates to hold the X gantry.
I tries shimming it a bit with and now I can tighten the wheel assembly just fine.

I’ll go for shims for now. Need to get this 500x500 XC upgraded to 1000x750. Don’t have time for details

I wonder why whoever designed them did not think to make sure they do not stick out beyond the plate face…
Also, I think I need to get a new metal file… Found a moment to try filing one of the extended spacers and guess what: the handle fell out.
