can you face a board with easle pro? Andif so how!
Easel / Easel Pro can do this no problem.
Design a rectangle with the size required, set to Fill and and Inside for tool path generation.
In Easel / Machine / Advanced settings you can also increase stepover from defaul 40% to say 80% which will decrease the carve time for skim cutting operation.

Ok so xcarve can’t go all the way to the edge what do you do about that?
Yes it can. Obviously you can’t go over clamps, but if you use double sided sticky tape to hold down you work piece and draw a box on easel slightly larger than the piece you should be fine.
