I set up my machine last week and everything has been fine but yesterday I found a random screw on a board after a carve and I’m not sure where it goes. I’ve checked the motors as they’re the same type of screw and don’t see anything out of place however since it fell out my carvings aren’t straight. They’re angled upward by 1/8 of an inch. I’m not sure if this is a coincidence or due to the mystery screw. I did also hit a clamp yesterday well after the screw was found and am wondering if I knocked something out of line. Any ideas?
Could have come from your z axes mount. You need to look it over good it came from somewhere Something is loose somewhere.

I would also recommend checking your z-axis mount as well. If your carves are angling upward chances are that is the area it came from. You may also want to check your limit screws on the gantry as well.
