As the title says I am having trouble understanding what speed to use for a .063 sheet of AL 6061 O, I dont want to risk damaging too much of my sheet for the sake of getting the speeds down. Anyone have a good reference? I am at the point where I am going too slow, and dont want to watch grass grow as I cut a thin sheet.
Having built an airplane. I think it will not matter. Aluminum is pretty forgiving. I did it hand held and it is noisy. Wear ear and eye protection.Oh wear gloves.
Well I have already made a few brackets out of the same material. I just don’t like waiting forever with something that would take 20 minutes and look ugly with tin shears. I will just deal with the slow times I guess.
