I bought this ardiuno https://allegro.pl/oferta/telmal-arduino-uno-r3-atmel-atmega328-klon-avr-6729577390?utm_medium=app_share&utm_source=facebook
And then he displays error 8
Any massacre how to do it ???
Did you ever try on your brotherâs laptop?
Can you try with CNCjs?
âWeirdâ controller behaviour can be due to a poor Ardunio clone. I would suggest you try ordering a genuine Arduino UNO and test that.
Yes I tried my brotherâs compiler and itâs the same in this cncjs program
This must be a mistake unless loading grbl to ardiuno
I canât deal with this
Are you compiling grbl using Arduino or are you using a hex file?
If you can explain, in detail, what youâre doing to upload grbl to the Arduino, we might see an issue.
If the upload is successful, it should just work. Are you modifying grbl?
Through hex file and load xloader
Grbl, I only change the $ positions off homing because I have no switches
Youâre using a USB hub? That might be the issue.
Yes, I have a USB hub
I connect with it and without any changes
This is all just grbl on an Arduino? No machine, correct?
Sorry i donât understand the questions?
Do you have anything connected to the Arduino right now?
Not only this cnc
To normally get Error 8, you try to send a $ command while grbl is receiving gcode. What are you sending to grbl - a plain gcode file? Please zip the gcode file that is giving the error and post it.
@JohnChamplain He posted gcode in another thread. The same error can occur with a corrupt data signal.
It is enough to make a circle in easel and error 8 occurs
Can you upload a photo of the Arduino and USB cable?
And you said you tried another computer?
Yes two even and I get this error
It seems to me that the fault is grbl 1.1 I tried several versions of f, h, g but if it loads 0.9 and it works all there are no errors
Most people using grbl are probably on 1.1. I use 1.1f on multiple machines without issue.
My gut tells me this is a USB communication issue, but Iâm sorry, Iâm out of ideas.
