I have long been a user of Vectric’s vCarve and other related tools and have had direct to machine processing once I export the gCode from vCarve and import into Mach3 for driving the G540/my CNC. I suspected I would be able to do similar here and leverage the Mach3, but I’m not sure that exported gCode would be functionally correct for the machine/controller specifics. I should note that I’m using the SmoothStepper solution to allow my G540 to be driven via Ethernet since USB/Parallel port world is relatively slow and unpredictable. Thoughts?
