I was using carvey on 3mm thick aluminum plate at 100mm/min at dept per pass of 0.8mm , it resulted into breaking of my single flute 1/8 inch bit from lower end and aluminum got heated upto very high temperature which resulted in melting of clips used for holding the plate . Please suggest ways to mill on aluminum on carvry
What CAD/CAM. If you can use HSM from Fusion 360 or similar to generate adaptive toolpaths, that would be best.
