The router (Z-Axis) moves down rather than up. It drove a bit into the table. Subsequent attempts to home do the same thing, the z-axis moves to the table even though the homing switch is at the top. It then stops; I guess it believes there is an obstruction.
It has been set up for several months and I carved a project a few days ago with no problem. Any ideas.
Reloaded the drivers and it is now working. Just carved my project. Thanks.
The controller is unaware of the actual position so there are no course of action due to obstructions.
I would suggest you also check your Z-wiring, if one of the four wires have poor/intermittent contact you loose directional control of that axis. Just in case if your issues wasnt entirely driver related.
