How do you carve an inside radius

I’m trying to carve a small serving tray with a handle, shaped like a paddle. I want all corners to have a radius both inside and outside. I used the square shape to build one area for the tray and another for the handle. I can radius the outside corners fine, but not an inside radius where the handle meets the tray and an outside radius at the end of the handle.

You’d have to layer shapes and set some to 0 depth then combine to erase those 0 depth from the other shapes to form the inside radius.

Like placing a circle on top of the corner and setting the circle to 0 depth and using Edit>combine
This leaves the corner with a quarter circle cut into it…
