Not for Easel, but there’s:

If you don’t want these specific shapes, it’d be pretty simple to work up a METAPOST, Asymptote, or similar graphical programming program to do this sort of thing — also see Nodebox and Processing (list of these at: Shapeoko CNC Router, Rigid, Accurate, Reliable, and Affordable )

Easel has a Voronoi applet (I like using it). I was hoping to get someone’s attention on making a tiling applet.

OIC. Thanks. I was not aware of that having been added.

Cropping a pre-drawn tessellated fill is a pretty basic operation in most drawing programs — does Easel not have a Boolean operation which would allow this?

I could probably make a cut/paste operation from a screen grab and tile it manually.

Better if you import vectors and clip them.
