Or better yet… can someone make a fill app for Easel? Pretty Please!
Not for Easel, but there’s:
( linked to from https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/CAD#Post-processing )
If you don’t want these specific shapes, it’d be pretty simple to work up a METAPOST, Asymptote, or similar graphical programming program to do this sort of thing — also see Nodebox and Processing (list of these at: https://www.shapeoko.com/wiki/index.php/Programmatic_G-Code_Generators )
Easel has a Voronoi applet (I like using it). I was hoping to get someone’s attention on making a tiling applet.
OIC. Thanks. I was not aware of that having been added.
Cropping a pre-drawn tessellated fill is a pretty basic operation in most drawing programs — does Easel not have a Boolean operation which would allow this?
I could probably make a cut/paste operation from a screen grab and tile it manually.
Better if you import vectors and clip them.
