I want to carve on a curved top box, is it possible?

Hi all.

I have been using Easel for a while now and find perfect for my small bespoke jobs. I was just thinking that it would be nice to carve a design into the top of a box I have that is shaped like a Treasure Chest.

Is there a way or maybe a way in the future to set up a curved material and have the design follow the curve? I understand that the cutting will still be in the vertical but I would adjust the design to compensate.

Any thoughts and comments welcome.

Easel dont support surface mapping.

But surface mapping is available via other software/gcode sender programs.

This is also common in PCB machining to account for minute Z-elevation differences of the board.
