If you use Fusion 360, Autodesk University is free this year

Interesting if you’re a Fusion 360 user - https://www.autodesk.com/autodesk-university/conference/overview

Actually, there’s probably going to be sessions that are interesting for anyone involved in building stuff.

Many won’t be Fusion 360 users after the changes they’re making to the “free” license.

Yep. I posted the AU thing before I saw the changes. Doesn’t affect me personally (I’m a total hobby guy) but it sure seems like it’d be tough to use free Fusion 360 once you got past the very, very tiny stage.

One thing that popped up on the Fusion 360 forums was a pointer to this, where you can get Solidworks as part of an EAA membership ($50 or so / year) - https://www.eaa.org/eaa/eaa-membership/eaa-member-benefits/solidworks-resource-center. That seems intriguing, given that Solidworks is the 1000 pound gorilla in the space.
