Hello everyone, I just finished putting my xcarve together and I am trying to figure out how to convert images into files for my projects, how do you convert JPEG’s into useable files??
Open easel and over on the left hand side the last icon down click on it and when it opens click on image trace and you can import it there.
Thank you however I am looking for a way to take an image and convert it to a useable file for carving, when I use the image trace it looks like it will carve looking like I used a hammer and chisel. Here is the image I am trying to upload.
Image trace is the way to go looses a bit of detail but still ok
Inkscape, trace bitmap and export as SVG. Easel import SVG.
