I have mesh simplify to reduce the file size for stl, but it works when it feels like it, can anyone recommend another please
Microsoft’s free 3D Builder will simplify. You might try that.
I have also used Microsoft’s 3D Builder and it has worked well. It will also fix discrepancies in the file on loading, if any.
