I’m a newbie to this whole system and I’m trying to figure out what I can do with these machines. Specifically, I’m looking around for a way to cut 3D contours and fully use the z-axis available instead of just cutting flat 2.5D parts. I have found the post processors for Easel and successfully put them into HSMworks, but I’m having trouble finding machine profiles that I can import into SolidWorks and use with it. I’m not experienced enough to go in and start playing around with feed rates, depth of cuts and RPMs, so I’m hoping someone here might be able to help me out.
TL;DR: does anyone know where to find a machine file that would let me use the Easel post with SolidWorks HSMworks to program 3D features like rounded filets and simply output the g code to the controller with Easel?
