Interesting 3D scanner attachment for smartphones (maybe)

If this is ever delivered and it works as described it would be a very interesting device.

They say it uses an eye safe laser to capture depth information and then combine that with the photo image to create a true 3D image with your smartphone. Imagine taking a 3D picture and getting an STL file that can be used to 3D print or carve and object.

For $49 I am tempted to try it.

In order to use Bevel as a scanner, you may need to use Cashew to help process and download your model, and possibly a 3rd party software to clean and make manifold for printing.
