My new Dewalt 611 started failing and then died all together. The LED’s would shine but the motor would not run. After replacing the brushes I had the same problem. After checking the connections I found one large wires on the speed controller what was incorrectly installed, causing lots of arcing. I posted a video on Youtube for more detail. thanks for letting us know, I would get ahold of Dewalt and let them know that their quality control failed them. at least then they would be aware of what type of equipment they sold.
