Invalid G-code

Line 15: G2X0.5000Y2.7625I0.2125J0.0000 The file contains invalid G-code syntax.

You must use one of our official post-processors in order to import external gcode.

I have followed all the recommendations that i could find to correct this, I am frustrated. Windows 11, older xcarve and trying to import the gcode from the vectric desktop sample to see if the software will work with the x carve. I have no problems with carving and all the functions of the machine using the online easel software, but want the flexibility of a software program with more capabilities and no revolving cost or subscription as it is easily months between projects for me. Please help, I am not sure what I am doing incorrectly.

When you go to save the toolpaths in Vetric you need to choose the post-processor for easel. I am away from my computer right now but if I remember Vetric has a new post-processor you need to download and add to your windows machine.

Right now when you are saving the toolpaths you likely have GRBL selected, you will change this to Easel… or Inventables… I can’t quite remember at the moment. I will see if I can come up with a more detailed answer…
