You can now create arrangements with islands in Easel Cabinetmaker! Check out the video and overview below to learn more about this new update and future developments.
To create an island in Easel Cabinetmaker, create a new project or select one of your existing projects and set the Room Layout to one of the two island layout options. From there, you can add cabinets to the island section using the left panel.
Islands will have two sides in the first implementation. You can add base cabinets, gaps, and filler panels to the island and can rearrange the cabinets in the island by changing their order in the left panel.
You can also change the location of an island by adjusting the offset in the left panel. The offset references the distance from the back left corner of the room to the start of the island run. Adjust the offset to position your island right where you want it!
Try out an island layout today and let us know what you think! We are eager to hear your feedback and learn more about your use cases as we continue to work on the layout and positioning interactions in Easel Cabinetmaker.
