J tech laser software laser etch, to picengraves picsender error

I am using the demo version of laser etch to make simple g-code to send through picsender. I use picengrave and picsender on my x-carve. Every time i create g-code and attempt to send it through picsender, i get an error, line 44, error #20. I dont know if the settings are correct, or if they need to be changed to send through that software. Anyone have any suggestions? I have not purchased jtechs laser etch software yet so if your answer is to purchase a different software, i am open to that as well. I am looking for simplicity, and that is what i see with this software. Thanks!

Which version of grbl are you using?

If 1.1f error 20 is unsupported command.

Post the first 50 lines of the G-code file here.

I would do that but i actually have no issues with the picengrave version i am currently running. It works like a charm. I just need a more simple software that can get jobs done quickly, instead of having to cover the entire area of the engraving. I used to just use easel, but i am no longer able to after upgrading the firmware. does the pro version 6 have this feature that can just follow laser on paths? I might consider the upgrade if it does

M106 and M107 are not supported by grbl. The spindle/laser on off commands for grbl are M3 (on) and M5 (off).

You need an upgraded Easel Local to run 1.1f with Easel.

Those M106 & M107 commands are for a 3D printer controller. Grbl uses the S command to control the laser’s power.

PicEngrave does have a feature to skip white areas around the outside of a B&W image/logo to cut down on the engraving time, butt still will raster back & forth. The Demo will generate gcode for your testing and if you need any one on one assistance with it, contact us through the registration email that was sent when you purchased PicLaser & PicSender.
