Large detailed carve problem

Im thinking that the detail file is to large. Is there a way to mask or tile a large carve into sections.

If it is a 2d / 2.5d, then yes, simply add a shape (like a rectangle) to the design and set it to the front and set the depth to 0.

0 depth design elements work as a mask for the design elements below…
