Leaving z probe connected

i know some machines the z probe/ touch plate plugs into the carriage however mine plugs into the control box and is out of the way when the machine moves would there be any interference electronically if i was to leave it plugged in while running a job i seem to be plugging and unplugging the touch plate quite often and 1 less hassle is always nice when in production mode.
thanks!!

there really isn’t an issue leaving them plugged in. The cnc isn’t reading the pins for the probe except during the probe sequence anyway. I’ve got a few models of CNC and they use the same chipset as whats inside the X-Controller and I leave those plugged in 100% of the time :+1:
