on a two stage carve stacking words, my home position was about 3/8 of an inch to the left and I’m sure my piece didn’t slip. It leaves a really thin border on the left side and totally messes up the project.

Oh and have you tried using the Center as Origin 0,0? This usually resolves any offset border issues by centering properly…
