Having issues getting lettering detail to appear. Any suggestions on this?
you’d need to use a smaller finishing bit and/or a larger model size so allow the bit to have mode clearance to get down in.
Typically I carve my very detailed carves with 0.25mm Radius tapered ball bits. However I should note that this small of a bit causes many more toolpath lines, extending the carve time as well as sometimes making the toolpath too complex for Easel to calculate, which is where Carveco maker often comes into play… Oh also Easel doesn’t properly account for the taper of the bit so with very steep walls that will cause the top to be over-carved, with more material removed than should have been.
