Lettering Do's and Dont's

Has anybody recorded any do’s and don’ts with regard to doing lettering on the X-Carve? I’m just starting out with this and it is clear there will be a learning curve. Any and all advise will be appreciated.

My limited experience has found that getting a 60 degree V Bit (about $6 on ebay) is the best end mill to use. Even if you are using Easel which does not yet understand a V bit, just keep the depth of the letters fairly shallow and tell Easel you are using a very small bit and it will work great.
