Longer bits

I’m working on an inlay, I want it to be 3/4 inch thick. But the longest 1/16 downcut I have is about .5 inch of cutting depth. Anyone know where I can find a 1/16 downcut that has at least 1 inch of cutting depth?

I would look into vbit carved inlays and use a vbit, they are stronger and longer and the vbit carved inlay will even fit better with less gaps…


This what I and trying to inlay, would a v bit work? I want the inlay to be .5 to .75 cherry.

as far as inlays go, anything that an endmill can do a v bit can do significantly better, due to the added detail of the vbit point…
