Hey everyone. My router started “screaming at me” as if it were very high rpm’s. The speed setting is still at 1. Noticed an electrical sparking when viewing from the top, like an old electric drill. Have never noticed that before. Can anyone make any suggestions?

Have you checked out the brushes?
Some users actually log hours of usage and swap them out at a specific life cycle.
