Im new with my xcarve. So Im trying to carve into something that is 2.6" thick. The xcarve barely doesnt clear it. So I know they have z axis upgrades and stuff. I just need to clear that 2.6 thick and be able to care 1/2" into it. Will these Y axis riser plates work for what I need??? This item is unavailable - Etsy

Those will get it raised enough to do what you are asking. Just beaware with the stock z axes if you carve say a piece of 3/4" wood and have it flat on the waste board the vwheels could fall off the bottom of the z axes. You only have so much up and down travel. Just a thought.
