Mirror a image

Hi Guys

Anyway of mirroring a half image to get each side the exact same?

cover up half of it with a zero depth cut box to trick easel into thinking its not there. Then mirror it and do the same to the other side.

You will have to have two images centered on top of each other then duplicate the workpiece and go from there.

Along with @WayneHall’s recommendations… Let’s say we start off with this image below.

You would want to:

  1. Combine the original image and the zero-depth rectangle to remove the right side of the image by placing the left X coordinate of the rectangle at the center X coordinate of the image (or reversed if you want the right side to be mirrored).

  2. Then, copy & paste the remaining object.

  3. Flip the newly created object horizontally.

  4. Set the right edge X coordinate and left edge X coordinate (according to which piece you started with) to the same value.

  5. Select both objects and combine them.

  6. Clean up any artifacts by editing points if required. (In this case there were none…)
