Thanks. I’ve tried a number of other webcam apps, it seems to work, although the light doesn’t.
Not sure what resolution I’m getting though.

Check the slider on the cord to make the light brighter…
The knob doesn’t seem to do anything on mine. The instruction card in the package suggests the lights should come on as soon as it is plugged into the USB. Is that how it’s working for other people?
If the light is coming on immediately for others, and not for me, then I need to return mine for replacement.

Correct, light appears to just run of USB power, there is nothing smart about it. I say ask for new one from amazon.
