I have been messing with this file for hours and can’t figure out how not to cut out all of the board. I want it to look like it does but not cut down the entire board to have it like that. Can someone help?

Cut out was what I was looking for. I want to attach it to a flag I made.
Your file has a lot of jagged lines. A google search should be able to lead you to a vector file of this logo.
Thanks a lot. I tried everything to make this work and that included me redrawing aspects of the original image I had in photoshop. Hence the messed up lines i guess. thanks again for your help.

How big are you going to make the Marine logo for the flag?
Because cutting that logo out you will have a lot of thin pieces.
Maybe you could carve out the logo and then cut it out.
It’s actually only gonna be like 9” tall or so. It is going to places into a union on a flag. I’m wanting it to look similar to the picture attached but in the union.
You could just set it to cut the outline instead of a fill.
