I’ve been cutting neoprene, for rim caps. they are used in a rim polishing company ,custom size for the wheel used in a production process.
we have tried a variety of neoprene durometer values from 30 to 80 , first we tried durometer 30 it was so soft that we have to freeze and use very low feed rates to be able to machine, then we move to higher values, until durometer 80 , 100 Feed rate and .100 depth cuts in room temperature spiral cut 1/4’’ cutter from home depot diablo brand (FREUD)
