So last night I finally finished building my new X-Carve. When I tested it through Easel, all the axes worked. But when testing the homing function, it just made a horrible noise so I stopped it.
Does anyone have a correct wiring diagram for the homing switches, please?

Open Easel and turn machine on. Open Machine Inspector window (CTRL+SHIFT+D)
This window will display three “LED icons”, one for each axis. Press each homing switch by hand and if they are working the LED-icon will turn green.
Do they do that?
Homing sequence test Z first, so if your Z-axis is binding or “rough” it may cause your Z-stepper to stall. This will make a “grinding noise”. Does that axis jog smoothly?
