With the arrival of a new grandbaby, my son asked if I knew how to carve an image of his child’s footprint into a plaque for his wife. I have absolutely no idea how to take a simple bitmap image and turn it into a 3D carving. (I’ve ben X-Carving for three years.)
Any suggestions?

Hi, I’m a 3D modeler. It’s not an easy task to create a 3D image, especially if you add enough detail to make a photo of a baby foot meaningful. You could however engrave an ink blot of the footprint.
