Hi, this is my first post. I just recently purchased my first X-carve Pro. I’m rusty but I do have a background in AutoCad, MasterCam, Solidworx however its been over a decade since I’ve had to use them. So with that being said, I’m trying to design a simple part and I’m having some difficulty in Easel. So here’s my issues if anyone can steer my to a feature I’m not aware of or if I am finding limits to Easel right from the start.
- Circular Interpolation - to make a 1/2 hole with an 1/8 bit (so I don’t need to change tools to make a 1/2 drill hole)
- Center Lining a part - to create features on one side of the part and mirror image it down the middle of the piece to have the same features on the other side - saving time.
- Manually entering xy cordenance instead of moving the mouse to the spot.
- This is my current biggest issue - My part is rectangular - it has 1/2inch radiused corners on one end and has a sharp 90 for the remaining 2 corners. (in photo) The blue ones I want to keep. The red ones need to be the 90 degree cut.
