Thanks I’ve learned from watching You tubers who have shared their techniques. Most supplies on Amazon.

  1. I use a Roll of Matte Oracal 631 Removable Vinyl
  2. Use a J-Roller like Powertec 71010 Long Handle 1-1/2 inch by 3-inch
  3. Ran X-carve program ( I didn’t have any problem running dust collection, but others have said it can lift the vinyl)
  4. Used J-Roller again
  5. Applied thin coat of Shellac on carved section (It will prevent spray paint from bleeding under vinyl)
  6. Spray paint carved sections, while masking other sections
  7. Then mask painted section when its dry and paint other sections. (This method allows you to paint multiple colors like the sign I showed.
    Hope this helps, its worked for me and I’ve done a few colored signs.

Thanks again!! I just ordered a roll of the Oracal Vinyl and the Roller.

Quick question have you tried the Shellac in spray can instead of brushing on?

I would think a light coat of either would work fine
