Trying to get a project ready for my wife. This piece gets inlayed into another so I can’t change the outside cut. Then I took the offset generator and made an inner line. What i am trying to do here is to take that inner line and make it a step from the outline of the letters. Right now it is showing as just a line carved in. I tried to change it to a larger bit but it wont let me.
Any thoughts?

Duplicate your black line, set it to fill, send to back, set depth to 0".
Select your grey line and set it to desired cut.
Yes! That is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. I have been putting my machine together and not really focusing on the design work yet… it will take a little time to get used to it.
Thanks for the assist on this… I am so used to sketchup that it is a bit different having to build the layers in easel. I got it fixed now.
I have my problems wrapping my brain around sketchup. I’d understand it if I stuck with for longer periods.
