can you invent some sort of torquing tool to test v wheel tightness too?

I have pinched myself using the finger method a few times however, resulting in naughty language.

Well my problem lied in me not having the machine powered and having the wheels too tight. Trying to get my fingers in around the bottom wheels in the x carriage the way my machine is sitting was slightly difficult at the time. Anyway I was awkwardly grabbing the v Wheel and apparently had that loose skin thats around your wrist resting on the slide next to the other v wheel. You might see where I’m going now. In short when I turned the wheel the carriage rolled just enough to pinch a small piece of skin between the makerslide and that other v wheel. You know, just enough skin to hurt like hell for a second. PSA have the motors powered when checking your v wheels. :grin:

Never wear loose skin around a powered machine. :smirk_cat:
