I am trying to carve this eagle on a flag. 3/8 material using a 60 v-bit on a detail carve at a depth of .070. It’s a real detail carve. It seems to breaking wood off during the carve. I have attached a picture and welcome solutions.
Use a different wood perhaps?
Plywood is very “stringy” and can easily behave as shown.
