Hi All, I am trying to plane some end-grain blocks but when the bit increments to the next step vertically it makes a really bad bang and everything is shaken up so the rest of that increment is out. I have tried reducing the feed rate to 1 inch per minute but it doesn’t seem to help. Any ideas?
Maybe a video of what is happening might be in order. Are you hitting the Z-Axis upper physical limit somehow? Which machine are you using?
