My father carved plexiglass for many years. I have a significant amount of plexiglass available in various sizes. Just want to see it used. Suburban Philadelphia area.

It will depend if it’s cast or extruded obviously, but Perspex is just a certain companies name for acrylic as far as I’m aware and it’s a common name in the UK.
I have used both generic acrylic, and Perspex over the years and could not tell you of any differences
