Looks good! Did you use a torch to give it that weathered look? What was your teqnique for painting the black area (tape then cut or just a steady hand)?
Paint then plane that’s just a bad picture on the weathered look
I have the 13" DW735 planer and have not been very happy with it but I will have to try that method on something without a bunch of small lines and test its limitations. Thanks!

You need sharp planner knifes take small cuts and be sure to use a vacuum on your planner
