Probe macro in easel for Z or all 3 axis

Hey @PhilJohnson

Just curious if you have tried this with your probe hooked up:

G21 G38.2 Z-10 F10

This probes for the touch plate and works in the command prompt. I know it isn’t all that you are looking for, but it might get you part way.

This just has the tip of the bit stop at the touch plate. Then you go to the “Carve” menu, raise the bit by .01mm or whatever and slide the touch plate out and then lower by the thickness of the plate plus .01mm… it is now at Z0 for your work piece and you can continue with the rest of the walk through.

Like I said, it doesn’t get you all the way there, but at least it is putting a touch plate to use in Easel. You can also change the command for X and then for Y instead of Z if you have that kind of touch plate.

@LarryM I’ll ask with that context.
