Thought I would start a thread to show what I’m doing. Mainly, I’m hoping to get feedback on how to improve my work. Feel free to let me know what you think. I will add other projects as I have the time to do them.
The first one is a 2-gang switch plate my wife wanted to replace the plastic one. She wanted oak to match the woodwork.

yeah thats a cool idea for sure
now add a 3d relief carving on the top and sell them for 25 bucks a pop

I like the idea but I don’t think I’m quite ready for that yet! I’ve got way too many things going on to spend as much time as I would like on this. So, it will be awhile before I learn all that I need to learn to do anything like a relief carving. I need to do a lot more reading on this forum but just can’t seem to make the time to do it.

I used the ornament template to make an acrylic ornament for my wife and each of the kids and grandkids putting each one’s name in the ornaments.
