What is the best preservative for a particle board carve? I know about taking the resin route but is there any varnish/ shellac with less work that can still do a good job indoors albeit with the florida humidity? Searched the threads, cant find anything relative.
Nice work. I would use an oil based poly on it. May give it a bit of a yellow tint but i think it would work better then a water based poly. You could also use rust oleum ultra cover gloss in a rattle can it is made for inside or outside and leaves a clear coat. It sticks pretty bad but good ventalation and should hold up.
Thanks Wayne, I will give it a shot!
marine varnish is the way go especially on the pan handle. VARNISH Marine Spar Varnish good bad news
Boy, that would make a great looking clock…
