You HAVE TO change the safety height setting!!! Make it save instead of staying at the stock .15"!!!
I agree. There should be an option to save an alternative safety height permanently (or until you deliberately change it again). My recent project involved carving on over 100 workpieces, and I had to manually open the Machine Settings and set (and recheck) the safety heights to 0.5" every time I carved. At the very least, I’d like to see an improved access to it - maybe on the cutting settings?
Same problem. I assumed that it saved the first time I did it until I launch the next repeated cut the next day to have a collision occur with a clamp that it should have went over. Now I have to make a point of checking the settings.
It would be nice if it would ask you when you are going through the carve set up.
