I’m wondering if taking the router on and off the X carve to use the router for non cnc projects could cause issues with the X carve working properly over time. Secondly if I can get away with not running the Router power cord throught the drag chain. Thanks.
I haven had any problems yet. This is my only router and I use it sometimes to handrout a roundover or chamfer Vater cutting. I exchanged the cord with a plug so I don’t have to remove the power cord all the time.

Yes this is the European one. I’m not quite sure what the model number it is here but it was hard to get and only with the big case with all the accessories.
