Setting up Shapeoko 5 Pro in Easel

New to CNC here please be easy on my 1st post.

I can’t seems to find the Shapeoko 5 Pro under the Other CNC tab. I only see Shapeoko Pro. I’m not sure if this is the same.

My other question is, is it easier/safer to setup the Shapeoko 5 Pro in Easel and have the Easel run the CNC vs. Design the cabinets in Easel then export the G Code to Carbide Motion?

Any input/insights would be greatly appreciated.

Export the gcode and use with Motion.
I wouldn’t even try to connect to the machine with Easel.

Thank you for your suggestion, Neil.

This is what I did. Export the cutlist to easel. From easel downloaded the SVG and imported in Carbide Create. I recreated the toolpaths in CC and used CM to cut. Probably not the easiest way but I’m new to CNC and this was my first project on my Shapeoko 5 Pro and I wanted to learn CC. Took me about an hour or so to get it ready for Carbide Motion.
