I am trying to figure out what settings I need to mill aluminum. I have Nema 23 motors, DeWalt 611 Spindle and 1/4 inch Destiny flat end mill with Stealth coating. What depth of cut. stepover, and speed of cut should I use? The first step is just clearing out material so my holder will not hit anything when I do the part. Then I will shift to a destiny 1/4 inch ball end mill to do the part that has contouring. Could someone help me out with initial settings?

I am build new corner brackets to raise the entire machine.
I have a 1/4" aluminum cutting bit.
What kind of cut settings have people used before? I have a hard time searching for the info that’s probably on here already.
