I need to be able to produce a carve repeatedly. The only thing that will change from carve to carve is the persons name. My thought is that I can carve the basic design on several pieces in advance and as people request the carve with a different persons name I would only have to carve the name on the “pre-carved” pieces. My concern is how do I set the X,Y, 0 for the pieces. Is there a way to create a preset? On the attached design I would be replacing the name but the rest of the carve would always be the same.

you could determine the position of the CENTER of the name on the board and carve that part only at a later date using the Center Origin feature…
